KROSS LEVEL 14.0

A mountain bike is not a complicated machine in theory especially when we talk about hardtail bikes. Frame, wheels, shock absorber and components. However, we know that it is more than that. That is why we spend hundreds or thousands of hours prototyping and testing. We collect opinions of cyclists riding for the Kross Racing Team and based on them we improve subsequent versions of the equipment. Nothing was chosen by incident in the KROSS Level 14.0.  We have optimized everything in terms of your financial capabilities and what you will get by choosing our bike.

The KROSS Level 14.0 in 2021 is a continuation of the thought guiding us when designing the previous generations of this bike. We coated the frame with new paint and improved many small details that contribute to pleasure and comfort of riding a bicycle.

Created from experience

Using the experience of our professional cyclists, we decided to choose the D84 Carbon SL fiber in all KROSS Level 14.0 frames. We supplemented it with the highly valued Sram components supplied by the popular American manufacturer, which was the first to introduce a twelve-row drivetrain for MTB bikes to the market. We also selected a high-quality Rockshox shock absorber, DT Swiss wheels and Mitas tires. By making small compromises in the components, we've managed to achieve an MTB that won't ruin the budget of any ambitious high-end rider on tough MTB or XC marathons.

Bicycle jewelry

Carbon D84 SL is the best type of carbon fiber available on our bikes. It is an extremely light material consisting of two types of fibers - T800 and M40J, bonded with nano-alloy resin. Thanks to this we managed to obtain an extremely stiff bike which perfectly absorbs shocks. Frames of this material were created for demanding cyclists expecting full obedience from their machine. The fork is a Rockshox SID RL R shock absorber with 100mm of travel, providing cross country riders with excellent shock absorption in all conditions. A shock absorber lock shifter was installed on the handlebar to enable the rider to pedal efficiently and freely on flat sections of the route. The drivetrain and shifters are Sram GX Eagle running in a 1x12 system and providing a cassette span of 10-50. When we faced the choice of wheels, we focused on the DT Swiss product, i.e. DT Swiss X1700 Spline. These 29" wheels were created to ride on rough terrain. Thanks to the ratchet system and an inner width of 25 mm, they are some of the best wheels available at an affordable price. The Mitas Scylla V75 tires with the width of 2.25" were mounted on them.
