KROSS LEVEL JUNIOR 4.0

Our bikes from the KROSS Level series have always been created for competitors and amateurs riding in MTB marathons and XC races. KROSS Level Junior 4.0 was also created with this in mind. This is a bike that is suitable for children who want to start their adventure with overcoming more demanding terrain.

KROSS Level Junior 4.0 in 2022 is a continuation of the thought guiding us when designing the previous generations of this bike. It's not just a new paint on the frame - we've optimized many small details that translate into pleasure and comfort from driving.

Equipment

KROSS Level Junior 4.0 equipment is based on the concept of a single chainring crank and components of the Japanese manufacturer of bicycle accessories, Shimano. This allowed us to create a drive with a nine-speed cassette supported by a Shimano Alivio M3100 rear derailleur. The bike is equipped with a front fork with air suspension, with a stroke of 80 millimeters, which ensures a smooth and comfortable ride in the city and off-road. KROSS Level Junior 4.0 consists of 24" wheels with Schwalbe Smart Sam 2.1" tires that will ensure predictable behavior of the bike both in the city and in the field. It is also equipped with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, ensuring safe braking even in the most difficult terrain.

Technologies

The KROSS Level Junior 4.0 frame is made of aluminum performanceStop Aluminum Performance 6061 is high stiffness and resistance to breakage, and at the same time lightness typical of aluminum. It is a special aluminum alloy 6061, thanks to which the bike is both light and durable. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. In addition, the frame is powder coated, which translates into durability of painting and its resistance to mechanical damage. As in the case of adult Level frames, KROSS Level Junior 4.0 benefits from hydroforming the frame, which makes it lighter and looks very impressive. All cables have been routed inside the frame, increasing its aesthetics and facilitating the cleaning of the bike.

Aluminum Performance 6061 alloy is high stiffness and fracture resistance, and at the same time lightness typical of aluminum.

A method of forming pipes by injecting a special liquid under high pressure. This technology allows, above all, to obtain lighter structures characterized by higher strength and precision of workmanship.

A method of painting consisting in applying electrified particles of powder paint on aluminum, which require thermal treatment. After sintering, the varnish surface creates a perfectly smooth coating, exceptionally resistant to mechanical damage.

Internal cable routing extends the life of the cables and sheaths, protecting them from mud, sand or rain.

For maximum protection of our frames, we have created a system of replaceable hooks that can be easily and quickly replaced in the event of damage. To limit the possibility of damage to the frame to a minimum, we place the threads on the hook or on a special nut.

Disc brakes provide us with high stopping power and good modulation even in the most severe weather conditions, and their service life is much longer than traditional brakes.

Braking precision increases by eliminating unnecessary adapters, which affects the stiffness of the connection between the frame and the caliper. Better heat dissipation extends brake life and improves brake performance.
