Cage Lock™:
Thanks to the Cage Lock™ technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and installing the chain are faster and easier than ever. Simply slide the cage forward (to release chain tension) and lock.

Exact Actuation&:
When first introducing its road bike technologies, SRAM once again used the tried-and-tested SRAM MTB 1:1 transmission ratio (spring deflection gear cable : rear derailleur movement). Exact Actuation™ helps create an easier and more stable balance between rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and accurate cable tension. The result: a switching system that is very easy to operate.

Roller Bearing Clutch™:
Roller Bearing Clutch™ rear derailleurs offer maximum drive stability - even on murderous and highly demanding terrain. The Roller-Bearing-Clutch™ technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and beating chains - without sacrificing precision.

X-Horizon™:
The parallelogram design of the X-Horizon™ derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting while reducing shifting effort. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper jockey wheel ensures constant chain spacing in every gear.

X Sync™:
X-Sync™ 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. Long SRAM X-Sync™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guidance. In order to offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-Sync™ chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to evacuate dirt and mud. Made in Germany, X-Sync™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1x drivetrain.
