SIGMA is the company of German electronics pioneer Klaus-Peter Schendel, which first started producing computers for bicycles in 1983 - Cyclecoach. In 1988, it developed its activities in microelectronics and started developing battery-powered lights - front and rear lights. Later, the company's success was boosted by mountain bike lights in the 2000s and wireless connectivity for watches.

Now the watches are so advanced that they can not only be charged with a USB cable, show heart rate and pulse readings, but also have a smart GPS navigation system.
